03/14/13 Firefighters from three departments were dispatched to 1317 18th Road, Tippecanoe Wednesday night about 6 p.m. for a chimney fire. The Tippecanoe Fire Department responded and as they were on their way County dispatch informed them that the 9-1-1 caller said the home was filling with smoke. Tippecanoe immediately requested a tanker from the Bourbon Fire Department. Mentone fire crews were also dispatched to the rural home.
Within a short time the fire was out and firefighters helped to clear the home of smoke.
