“Christmas in the Park” Rescheduled for Wednesday 5-7 at Conservation Clubhouse

December 17, 2013

12/18/13 The winter weather this past weekend cause the Plymouth Park Department to postpone their “Christmas in the Park” event.

Although the date has been changed to this evening (Wednesday, Dec 18) from 5 to 7 p.m., that’s the only change.  Families are invited to this free event that includes a visit with Santa Claus, a carriage ride, cookies and coco and holiday music by the Lincoln Legends.

“Christmas in the Park” will take place at the Conservation Club House on Magnetic Parkway, just east of North Michigan Street.

The Conservation Club House is decorated for the event and refreshment will be served in the lower level.   It’s anticipated that the carriage rides will be able to use the Greenway Trail this year instead of having to fight the traffic on the streets.

Although this is a free event, participants are being encouraged to donate a non-perishable food item for the Marshall County Neighborhood Center.

Recreation Director for the Park, Scott Michel urges folks to dress appropriately for the weather.
