YFC to Host Christian Band Wars

June 14, 2010

Plymouth is known as the host of the historical Marshall County Blueberry Festival during the Labor Day Weekend.   There are many activities such as bike rides, craft booths to shop in and tons of vendors selling a wide variety of great tasting food.  To add a different flavor, Youth For Christ is planning new excitement for the 2010 festival in September.

The Blueberry Festival and Plymouth Park Department have graciously allowed YFC use of the Young Amphitheater on Saturday evening.  Youth For Christ is putting together the ultimate competition of Band Wars.  Any Christian band or solo artist at any level is allowed to participate by listing their band on the YFC website at www.yfcinlakes.org

The listeners of the various bands and or solo acts can vote on their favorite band by paying just $1.  The top six bands will be chosen to perform a live concert at the Blueberry Festival where they will compete in front of representatives from Quick Artists and 7 Spin Music for a chance to win and sign with a label.

Band Wars is a great way to get your feet wet in the music industry and help support the local YFC ministry.  If you or someone you know is waiting to be discovered in the music industry, now is you chance to sign up and get your fans voting for you.
