Delta Theta Tau to Host Murder Mystery Dinner for Boys & Girls Club

August 30, 2010

08/30/10

Delta Theta Tau will host their annual fall fundraiser Murder Mystery Dinner on Thursday, October 28th.  This year the Boys and Girls Club of Marshall County will be the recipient of the event.

Y’all are invited to Miss Iggy’s, “the best kept secret in deadwood.”  Jimmy Hayward ruled this downtrodden, almost forgotten town.  It once thrived and prospered when folks thought gold was in them thar hills.  Them thar hills contained nothing but dirt and so the town lost not only its fortune but its fame and its population.  Now Deadwood is just an occasional stagecoach stopover for folks moving on to better places.  And the Leland is a haven for outlaws (like yourselfs) and it houses Madam Iggy’s.  Consider it just another night at the Leland, only this time it will be more deadly than usual.

This ladies only event will be held at Christo’s Banquet Center with doors opening at 5:30. The evening includes a family style dinner, cash bar, 50/50 drawing, silent auction and an award for the best costume, for those dressing in the 1880’s era.  Tickets are $40 per person and tickets are sold on a first come, first serve basis.  Contact Jaime Borden for your seat or table.  (540-2037)
