Preview of City Meetings

09/26/11 The City of Plymouth will hold their regular meetings on Monday evening beginning at 6 p.m. with the Board of Public Works and Safety.  The agenda includes awarding the bid for the 1st Street Patching Project, reports from department heads and the city engineer.  City Attorney Nelson Chipman will present a lease agreement for a fire engine with the LaPaz Fire Department.  The attorney will also discuss a contract for engineering fees associated with the expansion of the Pine Road Water Treatment Plant.

The Plymouth Common Council meeting is immediately following and members will consider an ordinance to amend the zoning ordinance and the zoning map of the city in regards to the request to rezone a piece of property at the northeast corner of King and 9A Roads.  The ordinance is listed for 2nd and 3rd reading.

Other agenda items for the Common Council an ordinance for appropriations and tax rate on first reading, and resolutions to transfer appropriations in the Deferral and Diversion Fund and in the Aviation Department Fund as requested by the Board of Aviation Commissioners.

The City meetings are open to the public although questions and comments are limited to agenda items only.
