Friday Night Arrests by City Police

  08/14/12  On Friday, August 10th at approximately 7:15pm, Corporal Bridget Hite of the Plymouth Police Department responded to Wal-Mart in reference to a theft. Upon arriving, Cheryl Y. Pachen 33, of South Bend was taken into custody and transported to the Marshall County Jail where she was booked in for theft, a Class D Felony and was given a $1,500.00 cash bond. Pashen is scheduled to appear in Marshall County Superior Court I on September 11that 8:30am.

A few hours later at 9:16pm, Officer Hite conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of Council Drive and Western Avenue after a vehicle was observed driving without its headlights on when required.  The driver, Juan Jimenez-Baca 28, of Plymouth was found to be operating the vehicle without ever receiving a license. Baca was transported to the Marshall County Jail where he was booked in with a $250.00 cash bond, which was paid on the same date at 10:25pm. Baca is scheduled to appear in Marshall County Superior Court II on September 11th at 8:30am.

A short time later at 10:43pm, Officer Derek Workman arrested Joseph R. Childers 19, of Plymouth at the intersection of Third and Jefferson Streets on a warrant through Marshall County following a traffic stop.  Childers was transported to the Marshall County Jail where he was booked on the failure to appear warrant and was given a $190.00 cash bond. Childers is scheduled to appear in Marshall County Superior Court II on August 14th at 8:30am.
