04/07/11 Coleman Cable Inc., located in Bremen received a WorkOne Achievement Award for partnering with WorkOne to create employment opportunities for local Hoosiers. The award was presented today in a ceremony at the Indiana Statehouse.

Recently, Coleman Cable’s Bremen office utilized WorkOne services to assist in their search for employees with very specific skills experience and knowledge. WorkOne offered support in the form of On-the-Job Training grants and customized hiring events. These WorkOne services have resulted in several job placements to date.

“WorkOne’s collaboration with Coleman Cable helped the company fill their positions and provided several individuals with new employment opportunities and skills,” said Mark W. Everson, Commissioner of the Department of Workforce Development. “This is a prime example of a successful partnership that benefits the Hoosier employer and job seekers.”
