Drainage Board and Commissioner’s Meeting Monday

  05/20/13 The Marshall County Drainage Board and Commissioners will meet Monday morning in the second floor meeting room of the County Building. 

The Drainage Board meeting begins at 8:30 with the opening of maintenance bids for the Keyser Addition Arm to the Elmer Seltenright Ditch and County Surveyor Larry Fisher will update the Drainage Board on the Logan Drain.

In other drainage business they will sign the maintenance contract for the Martin Border Ditch, consider the application of Homestead Dairy to cross the Isaiah Ball Regulated Drain, be updated on the Lake of the Woods Conservancy District and determine interest in the Yellow River Watershed #319 Grant. 

The Commissioners will meet at 9:30 a.m.  Their agenda includes the county highway department report with Neal Haeck, a public hearing on the Deer Trace Road dedication and a public hearing on the WECS ordinance to totally ban wind turbines in the county. 

Other agenda items for the commissioners is the County Attorney’s Report, an inter-local agreement with Bourbon and the County Building Inspector and his quarterly report.  The Auditor’s report with mid-month claims and the ADA Transition Plan resolution for 2013. 

Under commissioner items is second reading of ordinance 2013-03 the Sewage Disposal Ordinance.
