ISP Arrest Two on Possession Charges

08/28/12  On Thursday, August 24th at 8:08pm, Indiana State Trooper Jason Faulstich was patrolling US 31 near 1st Road in LaPaz when he pulled a 1998 Volvo over for a traffic offense.

During the investigation the Bremen K-9 unit arrived on the scene and indicated the presence of narcotics in the vehicle. Marijuana along with paraphernalia was located in the vehicle.

  The driver, Jacob Cornell 20, of Lakeville and his passenger, 18 year old Conner Stealy of Bremen were taken into custody and transported to the Marshall County jail where Cornell was charged with operating a vehicle with a controlled substance after failing a chemical test, possession of marijuana, and possession of paraphernalia.  He was given a $1500.00 cash bond.

  Stealy was booked f possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia and given a $3000.00 cash bond.

Both are scheduled to appear in Marshall County Superior Court II on September 11th at 8:30am.
