4-H Drill Team to Honor Armed Forces Sunday at 7

07/08/11 The Marshall County 4-H Drill Team will be honoring the men and women of the Armed Forces on Sunday, July 10 at 7:00 P.M. The team lead by Harry Eskridge has been using the opportunity to open the county fair with their patriotic ceremony since 2002.

In addition to the Drill Team equestrian performance, the ceremony will include an honor guard from Grissom Air Force Base, a flyover escorted by Tom Flynn, the North Judson American Legion, the Plymouth National Guard, and the Culver Pipe and Drums.

Guest speakers for the annual event will be Sandy Parker, Rochester Chamber of Commerce; Mike Wolffington, Executive Director of the Marshall County Board of Tourism; Nancy Dembowski, Indiana State representative; and Jack Roose, Marshall County commissioner.

The ceremony will take place at the horse arena beginning with the flyover and culminating with the Drill Team performance and speakers.
