01/27/14 The Marshall County Coroner’s Office released the name of a 21 year old female from Ft. Wayne that was killed instantly Saturday morning at the intersection of U.S. 30 and Fir Road north of Bourbon.
21 year old Jarica Tyson was southbound on Fir Road and turned into the path of a westbound semi trailer truck which ran over her vehicle, Tyson was killed instantly.
Marshall County Coroner Bill Cleavenger, Chief Deputy Brigette Hite and Deputy Coroner Al Bustamonte assisted at the scene. The Bourbon Police Department, Marshall County Police Department along with the Indiana State Police investigated the crash. The Bourbon Fire Department and Reichert’s Towing assisted with extrication and recovery.
Cleavenger said toxicology results are pending.
