Delta Theta Tau and Plymouth FOP Lodge 195 joined force again for the third year to provide Easter Baskets to children in our community.
Each year the FOP purchase baskets and buckets along with the grass and some candies the Delta Theta Tau provides healthier snacks and small trinket toys for the kids. Then members of the philanthropic sorority spent hours filling the baskets.
Families who are involved with the Blessings in a Backpack program in the elementary schools in Plymouth were offered the opportunity to receive a free Easter Basket.
The first year this joint effort provided 100 baskets. Last year and this year they increased the project to 200 Easter Baskets.
Any leftover baskets will be donated to the Bread of Life Food Pantry.
