05/10/13 On Thursday, May 9th at 8:47 a.m. Plymouth EMS and Police were dispatched to the 200 block of East Lake Street in Plymouth regarding a one month old infant with difficulty breathing. The infant was transported to Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center in Plymouth and then transported the infant to Memorial Hospital in South Bend.
After an investigation it was determined that the baby’s mother, 18 year old Diana Turner, had caused the baby’s injuries at approximately 6:30 a.m. that morning.
After questioning, Diana Turner was transported to the Marshall County Jail and booked in for Battery as a class B Felony and Neglect of a Dependant as a class B Felony with her bond pending.
