Local Plymouth Physician Recognized for His Contributions to Healthcare

  01/22/13 For his outstanding work at the Saint Joseph Wound Healing Center at Plymouth, Dr. Craig B. Miller, medical director of the Center, family medicine physician at Plymouth Family & Internal Medicine, and Plymouth resident, has been recognized as the Medical Director of the Yearby Healogics, Inc., the nation’s largest provider of advanced wound care services.

As medical director, Dr. Miller is responsible for reviewing patient care and results, evaluating new clinical products, and providing oversight and guidance on policies and procedures. Dr. Miller was selected for the award based upon his compassionate care, exceptional leadership qualities, and for going the extra mile to help heal more wounds and change more lives.

The announcement was made during Healogics Regional Wound Care Symposium in Chicago, IL which featured briefings by nationally
recognized specialists on treatment options and evidence-based clinical practice guidelines in the care of chronic wounds. Other sessions
included hands-on training opportunities, clinical information on accepted standards of care and safety updates.
