Oliver Ford Drive One for Community to Benefit United Way

October 24, 2012

10/25/12 Oliver Ford Lincoln is getting ready to embark on yet another Drive One ….but this time it’s an all new event to the Ford Motor Company and Oliver Ford.

Jennifer Houin from Oliver Ford explained, “This is the very first year that Ford Motor Company has had this event to help those large Not-for-Profit agencies in the community benefit from the Drive One.”  Oliver Ford has chosen United Way of Marshall County to be this year’s benefactor.

The Drive One for the Community will be taking place this Saturday, October 27th from 9 a.m. till noon in two locations.  The test drives will be held in the north parking lot of Plymouth High.  You’ll see them set up right in front of the Rockpile.  You will also be able to test drive a new Ford from Oliver Ford in the Culver High School parking lot.  For each test drive the Ford Motor Company will donate $20 to Marshall County United Way.

Along with the Drive One participants in Plymouth will have the opportunity to enjoy some great BBQ from Edward Christians from Bremen.  You have your choice of rib tips or pulled pork and two sides including cowboy beans, corn, potato salad or coleslaw.  Tickets are $10 and you can purchase them in advance from the United way office, any drive chair or board member.  Walk ups and drive ups are also welcomed.
