02/06/14 On Tuesday, February 4th Oliver Ford presented a $4,480.00 check to the Disabled American Veterans of Marshall County. For the past 6 years Oliver Ford has held driving fundraisers for area schools with Ford’s “Drive One 4Ur School” and the Lincoln “Driven to Give” events. Oliver Ford along with the participation of the community helps to raise money for set projects or departments in the schools.
The December “Lincoln Driven to Give” fundraiser was the first non-for-profit organization drive that helped to raise money for the Marshall County DAV.
Presenting the check on behalf of Oliver Ford Lincoln was John Oliver and receiving the check on behalf of DAV were Senior Service Commander, Bud Ross along with Chapter 42 Commander, Christine Frauendorfer.
