Ford Arrested on Multiple Drug Charges

MugShot_Dustin Ford 7-11-14On Friday, July 11th at approximately 12:55 A.M. an officer with the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle on US 30 near the intersection of US 31. During the investigation it was determined that the driver of the vehicle, 22 year old Dustin Ford of Plymouth, was under the influence of a controlled substance as well as driving on a suspended license.

Mr. Ford was taken into custody and officers located several illegal items in the vehicle. He was transported to the Marshall County Jail after failing a certified test. Dustin was charged with Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated Endangering a Person, Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated on a Controlled Substance, Driving While Suspended with a Prior, Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of a Precursor after Conviction, Possession of Marijuana, and Possession of a Legend Drug. Ford’s bond was set at $25,000 cash and he was given a court date of July 29th in Superior Court II.

They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
