09/23/11 Earthworks is inviting the local community to its annual Wine and Cheese Tasting, which will be on Sunday, September 25, from 3pm to 6pm.
Held on the lakeside lawn at Earthworks, 9815 Union Road, the event will feature more than 20 international wines and microbeers as well as cheeses from Italy, France, Spain, England and the United States. Guests can taste all the wines and cheeses, and some will be available for purchase.
In addition to the tasting, the Earthworks event will include a show by local artists Victor Webber (Photography) and Larry Holloway (sketches and Tshirt art).
The proceeds from the Wine and Cheese Tasting will support Earthworks’ programs for children, and especially, scholarships in the summer programs.
