06/13/13 Six local students had the opportunity to start their summer vacation learning about electricity, participating in camp activities, playing games and making new friends at Touchstone Energy® camp.
Each year, Marshall County REMC sponsors sixth grade boys and girls to attend Touchstone Energy® Camp at Camp Tecumseh YMCA Outdoor Center in Brookston, Ind.
This year’s participants included Helen Lemler, Lukas VanDerWeele, Shannon Master, Brayson Leazenby, Lane Bollenbacher and Harrison Harrell.
The Students’ agenda involved electricity education, horseback riding, rock wall climbing, bucket truck rides, archery, canoeing, swimming, a live line safety demonstration and more.
