Meth Lab Explodes, 2 Burned

03/15/11 Plymouth Police are investigating a meth lab explosion that occurred Sunday morning at 4 a.m.  Neighbors on Thayer Street called 9-1-1 and reported an explosion in the 700 block of Pearl Street.  It was also reported that a male subject was on the roof trying to extinguish the fire.

At the same time this incident was happening, a second dispatched was given in reference to a female that had been dumped at the emergency department at Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center in Plymouth.

Plymouth firefighters arrived on the scene at 4:11 a.m.   The fire from the explosion was contained to the room of origin in the upstairs of the home.   The concussion of the explosion caused 8 windows in the upstairs and downstairs to blow out.

A search warrant was executed at 707 Pearl Street.  Plymouth Police Officers located the remains of a meth lab.

The victim dropped off at the hospital, 36 year old Dawn Brauneker was burned over 75% of her body.  She was flown to the Fort Wayne Burn Unit.

A second subject, 29 year old Glenn Linderman was located later that morning, not at the scene.  He was also transported to the Fort Wayne Burn Unit.

47 year old Scott Davis of the 707 Pearl Street address was arrested and booked into the Marshall County Jail at 7:40 Sunday morning with a charge of dealing methamphetamine. He was held with no bond.
