Miller’s Celebrates Father’s Day in Style

June 20, 2011

06/21/11 Marshall county men (and women) were invited to celebrate Father’s Day at Miller’s Senior Living Community on Saturday, Jun 18.  Miller’s hosted and “indoor” cookout complete with brats, hamburgers, hotdogs and the trimmings that go with a summer cookout.  Following the delicious meal local entertainers Quentin Flagg and Bill Downey shared their Tribute to the Blues Brothers in a spectacular, energetic concert.  Also on display throughout the day was the Official Pace Car from the Plymouth Motor Speedway.  There were many photo opportunities with residents and their family members posing with the Blues Brothers and the pace car.

Miller’s will offer a free cooking demonstration with Chef Angie on Thursday, June 23 at 3:00 p.m.  You may reserve your spot in this demo by calling 1-574-936-9801 and ask for Anna Corbett or Cindy Flagg.

Miller’s resident Eva Freemen enjoyed the Blues Brother’s Tribute so much she chose to tryout the glasses and have her photo taken.  L-R:  Quentin Flagg, Freeman, and Bill Downey.
