01/05/11 On Saturday, January 1st at approximately 2:40 PM 51 year old Michael D. Favorite of Pretty Lake Trail drove to the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department to post bond for his ex-wife, who had been arrested earlier in the day.
The Marshall County Sheriff’s Department staff at the reception window detected Mr. Favorite acting weird and thought that he may possibly be intoxicated. Newly elected Marshall County Sheriff, Tom Chamberlin went to the lobby area and spoke with Mr. Favorite. It was obvious to Chamberlin that Mr. Favorite had been drinking. He tested twice the legal limit and was arrested for public intoxication and booked into the Marshall County Jail. Bond was set at $500. Michael Favorite was released that night at 10:29 PM after posting his cash bond.
