October 11th Fire Determined to be Arson

10/20/10 The Plymouth Fire Department in conjunction with the Plymouth Police Department is conducting an investigation into a fire in Plymouth.

The fire happened on Monday, October 11 early in the morning.  The call came into the dispatch center at 3:27 a.m.  The home at 420 Miner Street sustained exterior and interior damage.  Fire investigator John Pasley confirmed that the fire started on the back deck of the house.

The home owner and a small child were home when the fire was started.

City police and fire officials have determined that the fire was intentionally set.  The person(s) who started this fire will be arrested and prosecuted for this crime. Anyone who may have seen someone or something is asked to call the Plymouth Fire Department (936-2156) or the Plymouth Police Department (936-2126) with any information regarding this case.
