Folk Instrument Jam Session at Miller’s

March 6, 2012

03/07/12 Students and friends of music instructor Liza Woolever brought March in on a happy note with a jam session at Miller’s Senior Living Community.

Friday evening approximately 20 musicians gathered in the Main Lobby to play their various folk instruments for the residents of Miller’s.  Instruments included recorders, fiddles, guitars, dulcimer, harmonica, mandolins and one clarinet.  Residents listened as the students jammed together playing well known folk songs and hymns.

Following the jam session the musicians enjoyed a potluck meal in the facility Recreation Center.  .
