Send-off Ceremony Planned for National Guard Troops on January 4

12/22/11 On January 4th members of Plymouth F.O.P. Lodge 195 1:00pm we will be participating in a deployment ceremony at the National Guard Armory in Plymouth for the 381st MP unit.

Approximately 180 soldiers will be deploying from Indiana with nearly 90 soldiers leaving from Northern Indiana.

Hurshel Hunter, President of Plymouth FOP said, “If you are able to attend it would greatly be appreciated.  He continued, “When speaking and planning the ceremony with the troops, they only asked for a few things…mostly being, a great turn out for the send.” Hunter said, “We need to send them off by showing how much we support our brave young men and women.”

U.S. Congressman Joe Donnelly has already committed for the event with expectations that several others dignitaries will be attending as well.

Complete details are not set yet but it is believed that the ceremony will take place early in the afternoon and the community will be invited.
