Tony Gamble to Challenge Mark Senter for Mayor

January 24, 2011

01/25/11 With his family by his side, Anthony (Tony) Gamble of Plymouth filed his declaration of candidacy for Mayor of the City of Plymouth.  Gamble and his family marched at the Marshall County Clerk’s Office about 3:30 Monday and filed to run for Mayor on the Democratic ticket.

Tony Gamble has lived in Plymouth most of his life.  He and his wife Faith own and operate Mancino’s Pizza and Grinders.   They have three boys, Cody (13), Parker (10), and Jayden (5).

Gamble said, “Some of my concerns ad goals are to focus on economic development, job creation, and attracting new business to the downtown area.  I would like to keep an emphasis on continuing the South Gateway Project, and the development of the downtown park.”

He closed by saying, “Plymouth is a great city to live and raise a family, but I believe that we can be a more progressive  community if we have a greater focus on these quality of life issues.”

Gamble is still working on his platform and will be releasing it in the next couple of weeks.
