A crew working on the installation of conduit for the Metronet project hit another gas line Tuesday morning.
A second crew hired by Michiana Contracting hit a gas line on Oak Hill Avenue Tuesday morning about 9:30.
Fire Chief Rod Miller said gas had to be shut off to approximately 10 homes in the area of Oak Hill and Lincoln Street. Just before noon the leak was capped but crews were still working on the issue and had Oak Hill closed to traffic at 10 p.m.
