Ancilla College_We Believe in YouDONALDSON– Twenty-four, 24, 24! It’s time to give to your local junior college and help them end the fiscal year strong!

For 24 hours, June 24, 2015, Ancilla College will implement the first Ancilla Gives Day. This is a 24-hour event in which supporters are encouraged to donate $24 to the Ancilla Fund which provides financial aid to students.

While amounts such as $2,400, and $24,000 will also be gratefully accepted, any amount is beneficial. “Even $24 puts us that much closer to giving another student the opportunity to earn a college degree and better their future,” said Dr. Ken Zirkle, president.

You can stop in the college, mail in a check or give securely online<https://www.ancilla.edu/give-to-ancilla/> at ancilla.edu/give-to-ancilla.

Vice President of Development Todd Zeltwanger, said the event on June 24this at the close of the school’s fiscal year. “An online gift of $24 during the 24 hours of June 24 will allow us to finish the year with some momentum heading into a new year July 1.”

Just $24 really helps this small college, part of your community; affect the lives of young people who need a boost. Ninety-three percent of Ancilla College students receive financial aid and 43 percent of student families are in a category that can afford zero dollars toward tuition.

Gifts are accepted by visiting Ancilla.edu or calling 1.866.ANCILLA (262-4552). “We are hopeful alumni and friends of Ancilla College will take advantage of the various social media options to help make the Ancilla Gives Day a big success,” said Zeltwanger.
