Gold Shines on United Way of Marshall County

Swan Lake Resort was the sight of the Golden Anniversary of United Way in Marshall County.  United Way has been helping Marshall County residents for 50 years.

Mike Linter, Master of Ceremonies, open the celebration welcoming Co-Chairs for this year’s special celebration, Jim and Susan Wagner.  They said they were honored to be selected to be the chairpersons for the 50 year anniversary events.

Jennifer Maddox, United Way’s Executive Director, thanked all the volunteers and many sponsors of United Way.

The evening progressed with a wonderful video presentation by audio visual students of Plymouth High School.  There were many segments to the video spanning all 50 years of United Ways memories in Marshall County.

Melissa Owen, the 2010 Campaign Chair, shared her thoughts and goals for this campaign.

Rick Kreps, President of the Board of Directors, wrapped up the evening thanking everyone for their generosity and support of Marshall County United Way.

U.S. Granules Corporation underwrote the event and many thanks went to John Oliver for his continued support of United Way in Marshall County.

United Way of Marshall County would like to encourage everyone in Marshall County to “Live United”.
