09/29/11 The Plymouth High School Band Department will be hosting thier 13th annual Harvest Festival of Bands on Saturday, October 8th.
Band Director, Bryan Ames said, “This event is going to be HUGE!! We have 17 bands performing that night. This is a REALLY big event with that many schools coming on to our campus.”
The Harvest Festival of Band will host the following high school bands…Highland, Triton, Elwood, Bremen, Taylor, Pioneer, John Glenn, Knox, Northwood, Northwestern, Western, Hobart, Portage, Chesterton, Elkhart Central, Munster, and Plymouth.
The event will begin at 5:15 p.m. Saturday, October 8th at the Rockpile and ends with a large award ceremony at 9:00 p.m.
This is a fundraiser event and citizens are urged to come out and watch and listen to these high school students who devote so much of their time to the band programs. Admission is $6 for adults and $4 for students and seniors. The concession stand will also be open providing munchies and food for the evening event.
