08/19/11 Phend and Brown are currently working on street projects in the city. On Monday, August 22nd they will begin work on Markley Street. This is an extensive project that will include the milling off of the top layer and base patching. Work will also begin on Shamrock Drive on Monday. This project includes the aggregate, base, and intermediate coat. Markley will be a flagging operation and Shamrock will be closed for the day.
On Tuesday August 23rd work will begin on Hogarth Street and Hillcrest Avenue with a milling to remove the surface. Both of these roads will be closed. Markley Street is scheduled for resurfacing on Thursday, August 25th and paving on Hogarth and Hillcrest should be done by Tuesday, August 30th.
