12/24/13 Plymouth’s Street Superintendent Jim Marquardt released information on the Christmas and New Year’s holiday trash and recycling schedules.
Plymouth city residents should know that due to Christmas being on Wednesday, trash and recycling will be pushed back one day later than usual. Wednesday’s route will be run on Thursday and Thursday’s route will be moved to Friday this week.
Next week the same situation will happen with New Year’s Day being on Wednesday. Wednesday’s trash will be picked up on Thursday and Thursday’s trash and recycling will be collected on Friday.
As in years past, the Plymouth Street Department will pick-up used real Christmas trees that are placed at the curb for pick-up. The city asked that you remove all decorations, lights, and the tree stand prior to pick-up.
