HorseSaddleShop Outlet Plans Grand Opening in Bremen

March 24, 2011

3/25/11 Josh Hueni never pictured himself wearing a cowboy hat and boots, but now he can’t help trying them on every day.  That’s because he’s now a saddle expert in training for a brand new retail store opening in Bremen—the HorseSaddleShop Outlet.  The Outlet, located at 1205 W. Plymouth Street between Family Dollar and Curves, is planning its grand opening for Saturday, March 26.  The Outlet specializes in used saddles, western wear, horse tack, and western décor.  The grand opening will include a ribbon cutting ceremony, free refreshments, giveaways and great sales prices.

The Outlet has a very relaxed atmosphere, with country music softly playing in the background, the smell of fresh coffee, and plenty of interesting products to peruse.  The space contains a wide variety of different products spanning from saddles, tack, leather care, home decor, toys, jewelry, belts, hats, boots, jeans, and shirts.  HorseSaddleShop prides itself in only offering high quality products, and saddle experts personally inspect every item they carry to make sure it is up to their standards.  Hueni says he looks forward to expanding the store’s inventory according to what his customers are interested in.  “I think the outlet will provide a unique and fun shopping experience for the community, where they can find products that are hard to find in the area,” explained Hueni.  “We offer something for everyone – even if you don’t own a horse or live in the country.  We have a warm, fun store that people can kick back, relax, and enjoy shopping…country style.”

Linda Fish is also a saddle expert working at the outlet.  She specializes in finding brand name used saddles at great bargains, which she inspects, cleans, and puts up for sale in the shop.  Currently she has an inventory of over 60 used saddles that are ready for a new owner.  She looks forward to beginning saddle cleaning workshops at the outlet.

The HorseSaddleShop Outlet is an extension of HorseSaddleShop.com.  The internet business began in 2000 and has become one of the top western sites on the web.  The store seems to bring the benefits of a big store into a small town.  “I think a lot of people will be surprised at our prices,” Hueni stated.  “Most people think a small town store equals high prices, but our prices in the store are the same prices with which we compete globally online.”  Hueni will be working full time at the retail store.  “I’m looking forward to meeting local horse owners and being able to serve the community face to face,” Hueni stated.  The retail store has allowed the business to branch out from saddles to western apparel.  Hueni’s favorite new items, though, “are definitely the Ariat boots!”  Maybe he’ll be wearing a pair soon, if he can ever decide which pair.
