04/26/11 Gary Fox, Project Engineer for the Oak Drive improvement project north of US 30 announced the begging of lane restrictions.
Contractor H.R.P. began work on Monday that involves making connections to and doing work involving the existing water main that is located on the northbound lane of Oak Drive in the area of the intersection with Pilgrim Lane. The lane restriction is on both the north and south bound lanes of Oak Drive and also lanes of Pilgrim Lane at the intersection.
After this water main work is completed this week, Fox said, “They will be continuing work where they left off last week on the east side of Oak Drive north of K-mart’s north entrance and along 7-Oaks Veterinary.” He continued, “They will need to temporarily close Hoham Drive for one day when crossing it with the new water main.
Detour signs and information signage will be placed during all construction helping motorist navigate the congested area.
