09/04/12 Marshall County Coroner Bill Cleavenger reported that the toxicology report for Jack R. Moriarty, the moped driver killed the evening of Saturday, August 25 on 19th. Road in Argos, tested positive for drugs and alcohol.
Moriarty crashed his moped into a fence post on 19th Road and was killed instantly. Cleavenger said there was evidence at the time of the accident but testing must be done first before results can be released. The Coroner said, “Unfortunately we are seeing more of this and it was fortunate that nobody else was involved.”
