Bourbon Man Arrested on Multiple Drug Charges

  07/24/12 Last Tuesday morning July 17th about 2:15 an officer with the Marshall County Police Department initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle at the intersection of 12th and Queen Roads.

During the investigation it was determined that the driver, 26 year old Jarvis Long of Bourbon was believed to be under the influence of a controlled substance.  Mr. Long refused to take a certified test.  The county officer also located several items associated with the manufacturing of methamphetamine in the vehicle.

Jarvis Long was transported to the Marshall County Jail where he was booked in for manufacturing meth, possession of meth, possession of chemical reagents and operating a vehicle while intoxicated.

Bond for Jarvis Long was set at $50,000 cash.
