Minor Injures in Saturday Crash at US 31 & 14th Road

  10/11/12  On Saturday, October 6th at 2:15 PM Marshall County Patrolman Les McFarland responded to a two vehicle accident at US 31 at 14th Roads south of Plymouth.

  Arriving on the scene the driver of the 1994 GMC Pickup Truck, 33 year old Scott Lewis of Plymouth told the officer he was crossing the median and did not see the 2005 4-door Nissan driven by 36 year old Jay A. Duncan of Missouri which was traveling northbound on US 31.   Mr. Lewis stated that he pulled into the path of the Nissan causing the accident.

  Mr. Duncan told Officer McFarland he was unable to avoid the collision.  Duncan complained of chest pain and was transported by Plymouth EMS to Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center in Plymouth for treatment.  The passenger in his vehicle, Robin Moody of Kokomo complained of pain to the chest and ribs.  She too was transported to the Plymouth Hospital for examination.
