Wisconsin Woman Arrested Christmas Eve

  12/27/13 A Wisconsin woman is in custody in Plymouth after a traffic stop.

Plymouth Officer Shanna Gilmer stopped a car driven by 23 year old Jodi R. Shannon of Madison Wisconsin just after 1 a.m. December 24th for an equipment violation. Gilmer discovered that Shannon was allegedly intoxicated and was in possession of what appeared to be marijuana. Shannon was booked into the Marshall County Jail for operating a vehicle while intoxicated, possession and driving with a suspended driver’s license.  Shannon’s bond was set at $4,500 and her initial court hearing is scheduled for January 7th.

 

 

Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is a mere allegation that crime has been committed.  They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
