02/01/13SJRMC’s “Associate of the Month” and “Associate of the Year” program is an opportunity for leadership to recognize, reward and say “Thank-You” for a job well done to non-management associates who demonstrate our Mission and values.
Each month two non-management associates are selected by leadership throughout the entire SJRMC system, one for the Plymouth campus and one for the Mishawaka campus. In December, the 24 Associates that were selected as “Associate of the Month” are eligible for “Associate of the Year”. Then, based on votes received from colleagues throughout the entire SRJMC organization, the Associate of the Year is chosen.
On Thursday, January 31st SJRMC’s leadership team recognized John Sellers for being selected as the SJRMC Plymouth campus “2012 Associate of the Year”. John, a maintenance mechanic at the Plymouth campus and the November “Associate of the Month”, has been with SJRMC for over 24 years ago, and continues to work as if he just started!
As included in his nomination, “John demonstrates valuable service to his team, and to the entire organization. He is highly efficient in assuring that we are life-safety compliant, which involves conducting hospital wide in-service sessions on our fire alarms, fire drills and fire extinguisher systems. Additionally, his assistance in executing event orders is an important contribution, as preventative maintenance is critical to the facility’s daily operations and patient care. Never overlooked is John’s incredible commitment to the hospital and to the patient experience as a whole – we are so thankful to have such a dedicated employee. ”
In recognition of his fine service, the entire SJRMC system congratulates John Sellers on being selected as “2012 Associate of the Year” for the Plymouth campus.
