Susan Taylor is the newly appointed Preplanning and After Care Consultant at the Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home. She arrives at a time that the funeral home is celebrating 135 years of service to the area and will be able to assist families with these important details.
Susan and her husband Todd are raising their family in his hometown of Lakeville where they have lived for the past 10 years. She grew up in Kalamazoo and after living in the Chicago and Granger area they decided to move closer to family and enjoy a smaller community. Susan is a busy mom of their two daughters who are very active in academics and sports. They love spending time together traveling and with their extended family and friends. They are also active in their church and supporting their children in all that they do.
After working in South Bend for 7 years, she welcomed the opportunity to join the Johnson-Danielson staff in Plymouth. She is looking forward to helping families with the many options of preplanning. Along with helping families after the loss of a loved one – both in celebrating the life of that person as well as assisting with the many details that are involved.
Randy Danielson, co-owner and director, states that Susan will also assist with Aftercare. “We are fortunate to have in Ms. Taylor someone experienced in grief support. She is available during the emotional time to feel like a friend, not a stranger.”
