Kilwinning Lodge Honors VanVactor’s Retirement

12/29/10 Marshall County Sheriff Jon VanVactor will retire from law enforcement at the end of this year.  He spent 32 years serving and protecting the citizens of Marshall County.  Tuesday morning the Brethren of Plymouth-Kilwinning Lodge No. 149 in Plymouth delivery a special retirement gift to their lodge brother Jon Van Vactor at the Sheriff’s Department.

VanVactor was presented with a specially adapted walker that had police lights and radio on the front of it.  Kilwinning Lodge members on hand for the special presentation were (pictured from L to R) Jim Daugherty, Keith Hammonds, Marshall County Sheriff Jon Van Vactor, Kent Hammonds, Ray DeVault and Michael Marshall.
