Traffic Stop Leads to three Arrests

  06/24/13  On Thursday evening, June 20th at approximately 9:45 Plymouth Police Officer Shanna Gilmer was patrolling US 30 westbound and stopped a vehicle for a speed violations.  The vehicle took the State Road 17/Michigan Street exit ramp and stopped on the ramp of US 30 westbound.  The driver was identified as 22 year old, Joseph P. Egenlauf II of Bremen.  During the investigation of the traffic stop Mr. Egenlauf was found to be in possession of marijuana and was operating a vehicle while under the influence of a controlled substance.   He was taken into custody.

  The passengers in the vehicle who were found to be minors were identified as 19 year old Andrea M. Salazar and 20 year old Jacob W. Ricketts both of Bremen. Salazar and Ricketts were found to have illegally consumed alcoholic beverages and were taken into custody.

During the investigation of the minors Andrea Salazar was also found to be in possession of Marijuana.   All three subjects were transported to the Marshall County Jail where Joseph Egenlauf and Andrea Salazar were booked in on $1,505 bonds and Jacob Ricketts was held on a $255 bond.

  Ricketts was released on Friday, June 21st at 1:00 A.M. after posting bond and was given a Superior II Court date of Tuesday, July 2nd at 8:30 A.M.
