03/01/13 Plymouth Junior League Baseball is gearing up for a spring and summer filled with fun at the baseball park for kids ages 4 to 16.
Children who will be 4 by May 1st and not be 17 before May 1st are eligible to participate in the Plymouth Junior League Baseball Program. Registration gets started this weekend at the Webster Recreation Center. Saturday hours are 9 a.m. till 1 p.m. and Sunday from 1 a.m. till 4 p.m. Cost is $50 per child or $100 per family with 2 or more children participating. This year the league is requiring families that live outside the city limits to pay an additional $10 per player as per the Plymouth Park Departments regulations.
Drafts will be held in the 4th week of April and practice will start in May. If your child wishes to try-out for the travel team, he or she must be registered prior to try-outs and attend a Plymouth school. 12U and 10U travel team try-outs will be April 2nd through April 5th. 12U will practice and try-out from 3:30 to 5:15 and 10U practice and try-outs will be 5:30 to 7 each day. All practices are weather dependent at the B-League Diamond.
