Bules and Sarber Appointed Public Defenders

  01/20/14  Judge Dean A. Colvin, Marshall Superior Court No. 2 recently announced the appointment of June E. Bules and Matt E. Sarber as public defenders for the Court.  Ms. Bules and Mr. Sarber join Douglas N. Hite and Joseph Simanski as public defenders who assist the Court in providing legal services to qualified individuals as required by the constitution of the United State and State of Indiana.

 

In 1995, June E. Bules graduated from Valparaiso University with a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Criminology.  She received her Doctor of Jurisprudence from Indiana University-Indianapolis School of Law in 1998. June is admitted to practice in all state courts in Indiana and in the United States Federal Court for the Northern District of Indiana.  She is a member of the Marshall County Bar Association and the Indiana Bar Association.  Ms. Bules has more than 16 years’ experience as a general practice attorney with experience in a variety of legal matters, including criminal defense representation, bankruptcy, dissolutions, child support, and appellate work.

 

Matthew Sarber is a native of Marshall County; graduating from John Glenn High School. Matt attended Manchester University, graduating with a B.S. in History, before obtaining his law degree from Valparaiso University.  Matt is admitted to practice in the state courts of Indiana, as well as the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Indiana. Matt is associated with the law office of Lukenbill and Lukenbill, LLP. Matt concentrates his law practice in business law, estate planning, probate, and criminal defense.
