Kiddies’ Day Parade to Highlight Chamber’s 2nd Friday Event

June 25, 2010

06/25/10

The Second Friday Events sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce will get a real boost next month (July) with the Delta Theta Tau bring the Kiddies’ Day Parade to downtown.

Along with the regular activities of the bounce house, Art the Balloon Man and live music, children ages 12 and under are invited to participate in the parade sponsored by Delta Theta Tau.  Children are encouraged to dress up as their favorite character, TV star, movie idol or just a fancy dress, hobo costume or what ever and parade on the sidewalks of downtown Plymouth.  Line up for the parade will be at Centier Bank beginning at 5:30 with the parade at 6 p.m.  Since the children will be walking on the sidewalks there will be no motorized vehicles permitted.

After the parade, families will be able to enjoy live music, some tasty snacks and a variety of Kiddies Games at no charge.

Make you plans now for the Second Friday, July 9th.  Get the creative juices flowing and make a plan for your kids or grandkids to participate in this year’s  Kiddies’ Day Parade.
