Minor Injuries in 3 Vehicle Crash at King and Lincoln Highway

08/03/11 On Friday, July 29th at 3:37 p.m. Patrolman Nicholas Laffoon of the Marshall County Police Department was dispatched to a three vehicle accident at the intersection of King Road and Lincoln Highway.

A 2002 Volkswagen Jetta driven by Taylor M. Schuh 16, of Plymouth was facing north preparing to turn west onto Lincoln Highway.  A 2006 Chrysler Minivan driven by an unknown individual was traveling west on Lincoln Highway, approaching King Road, and a 2003 Ford Focus Driven by Leslie Graham 64, of Bremen was stopped on the north side of the intersection of King Road, facing south waiting to cross Lincoln Highway.

The Jetta pulled into the path of the minivan and was struck in the passenger’s side by the minivan.  Driver of the minivan advised that she honked her horn and tried to swerve right, but was unable to avoid the accident.  The Jetta and the minivan became joined in the collision and were struck by the focus.  Both were injured from the Jetta and were taken from the scene by family to the Plymouth Hospital Emergency Room for treatment of minor injuries.

The Marshall County Police Department was assisted by Plymouth Fire Department and Plymouth EMS at the scene of the collision.
