03/26/13 On Friday, March 15th the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department received a complaint from Steven Hunsberger advising that he had several checks stolen and forged. During the investigation Deputy Les McFarland had reason to believe that 24 year old, Lacy Holzwart was involved in taking the checks and forging them for currency. After obtaining several statements, videos and information 55 year old, Ralph E. Howard of Argos was arrested on Tuesday, March 19th for Forgery a class C felony and Theft a class D felony. Mr. Howard was transported to the Marshall County Jail where he was held without bond. The Marshall County Sheriff’s Department is still trying to locate Lacy Holzwart in regard to the investigation. Anyone with information leading to the where about of Holzwart is asked to contact the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department.
