The 8th annual “Gift of Warmth” Lake Maxinkuckee Film Festival is this weekend in Culver.
The Lake Maxinkuckee “Gift of Warmth” Film Festival activities for Friday evening’s event for sponsors takes place at Culver Academies Epply Auditorium and the films that will be showcased include works from a current IU Media School student and two recent graduates.
Saturday evening activities will take place at the Culver Town Park beginning at 6 pm with a picnic, live music and an outdoor movie. This year’s feature presentation is “Field of Dreams”. The entrance fee is gently used or new items of winter clothing for school age children or monetary donations which will be used to defray hearing costs. Donations will help Culver area families stay warm this winter.
Gift of Warmth is presented by the Culver Lions Club.
