M.C. Lakes & Water Council Meeting Wednesday

   05/23/12 MoonTree Studios will be hosting the monthly meeting of the Marshall County Lakes and Waters Council on Wednesday May 23rd at 5:00pm.  The Marshall County Lakes and Waters Council, Inc. is an organization formed to provide education, information and representation to protect and preserve the environment of the 18 lakes and Yellow River in Marshall County.  This is a public meeting.

Following the meeting, there will be a potluck style barbeque dinner and tour of the MoonTree facilities.  MoonTree Studios is a place where individuals are encouraged to experience their creative spirit through interaction with art and nature.  MoonTree, a LEED certified facility, is working with members of the Flat Lake Watershed Group, Ancilla College and volunteers to conduct storm water runoff evaluations on the property surrounding and flowing in to Lake Gilbraith.
