07/29/11 The Plymouth Public Library Summer Reading Program was completed on Wednesday, July 13. The staff in the Children’s Room are very proud of the 493 Infant through Fifth Grade children enrolled in the program. On Thursday, July 21st, the 122 children that completed the program, by reading the maximum amount of books in their category, were awarded with a special Certificate of Achievement from the Mayor’s Office. Mayor Mark Senter presented the certificates. Prizes awarded in the various categories included: books, troll dolls, and various food coupons.

The 15 readers that read 70 books in the Second and Third Grade program were: Tia Andrews, Tobias Bala, Rachel Beers, Hailey Bottorff, Fransheska Cantero, Kylee Colindres, Jacob Kowatch, Claudia Marohn, Allena Peacock, Madison Rose, Lauren Schumacher, Lakeland Strain, Dulce Vargas, Alexis Whitehurst, and Makayla Wilson.
The 13 readers that read 35 books in the Fourth and Fifth Grade program were: Jessieca Bala, Julia Beers, Brock Crisler, Annie Keller, Julia Marohn, Shannon Master, Elizabeth Mendez, Bryan Ramirez, Alexia Ramirez, Leah Smith, Rosemary Szalay, Raquel Teutle, and Samantha Zechiel.
